Hogale is an enemy originating from the game Mega Man & Bass (where it appeared in Pirate Man's level) that was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0.

It is a large whale that swims through water destroying basically everything in its path. They do not collide with tiles and instead choose to swim past them. If not in water, they will fall to the ground before dying. Despite their description describing them to be "almost indestructible," Hogales can in fact be slain, their death explosion resembling how a mid-boss explodes when slain.

Hogale Spawner
An intangible invisible tile that, if onscreen, infinitely spawns Hogales. The Hogale Spawner has options of spawning Hogales traveling either left or right.
clr

Trivia
* Hogales take their name from the Japanese term hogei (written ほげい in Hiragana), which means "whale hunting."
* These Hogales are actually an aquatic variant of an airborne enemy named Hogale which appeared in Tengu Man and Frost Man's levels in Mega Man 8. The airborne Hogales, however, are absent.
** The aquatic Hogales were also called "Hogale Submarines" for differentiation purposes, though here, they are just called "Hogale," probably because the airborne Hogales do not appear.
Screw Bomber (also known as "Screw Driver" or "Screwdriver" in other sources) is an enemy that appears in Mega Man Maker. They originate from Mega Man 1, where canonically they were originally fire-extinguishing sprinkler robots, before being modified by Dr. Wily for nefarious purposes.

Screw Bombers were introduced to Mega Man Maker in Version 1.0.0.

In Mega Man Maker
Behavior
If the player is more than 7 blocks away from the enemy, in any direction, the enemy will remain in its "Passive State". While in this state, it will lay low and will not move. In this state, the enemy has a lower hitbox, making it harder to damage as many weapons, including the Mega Buster, will simply miss over the enemy's head.

If the player enters this 7-block range, in any direction, the Screw bomber will enter its "Aggressive State". While in this state, it will periodically extend itself, fire two volleys of five simultaneous shots in five different directions, and then retract itself, before repeating. While the screw is extended, the enemy is much easier to hit due to its larger hitbox.

If the player is to leave the Screw Bomber's range of aggression, it will return to its passive state.

The projectiles fired by a Screw Bomber can be deflected by Shine as well as Proto Man's shield.

Screw Bombers are not affected by gravity, cannot be crushed by Push Blocks, and cannot be moved by Level Objects.

Level Builder
Screw Bombers can be placed facing either upwards or downwards, which alters the direction in which its projectiles are fired.

Screw Bombers can be set to one of three colors: Red, Orange, or Blue, resembling their appearances in Wily Fortress Stage 2, Cut Man's stage, and Fire Man's stages respectively.
Metalls (also known by the nickname Mets and as Helmet in Mega Man for Game Gear) are one of the most common types of enemies represented in Mega Man Maker. They are robots with a hard hat and sometimes two legs. Most forms of Met rely on hiding underneath their helmets in order to keep themselves safe, protected from all non-piercing weapons, while occasionally emerging (rendering themselves vulnerable) in order to attack. As a trade-off, Metalls often suffer from low damage output and a lack of health.

As of version 1.9.4.3, twelve Met variants are included in Mega Man Maker to use in levels: the original Met, the Neo Met, the Train Met, the Metall Cannon, the Fire Met, the Numetall, the Neo Heli Metall, the Hell Metal DX, the Fukuhorn, the Metall Sniper, the Swim Metall DX and the Camouflametall. The Sabotall from Mega Man Powered Up will be added in version 1.10.0.
The Met is the first version of the Met in the Mega Man series, first appearing in Guts Man's stage in Mega Man 1 as an enemy. It was originally created as an industrial robot for nondescript purposes, although its designated level and hardhat implies the Met's involvement in construction work or mining operations.

Met debuted in the initial release of Mega Man Maker, 1.0.0.

This version of the enemy is stationary, as it has no legs, and it establishes a suitable template for the behavior of most Mets of later titles.

Level Builder
The Met is designated to the 5th layer, along with tiles and most level objects. It has zero customizable attributes or options.

Behavior
As is, the Met is a rather simple adversary. Once the player enters a range of around 4 tiles away from the Met's position, it will briefly pop out of the ground to fire a spread-shot of three projectiles - one directly forward, one diagonally downwards, and one diagonally upwards. These projectiles deal more damage to the player than the Met's own contact damage. Once the Met has fired its projectiles, it will retreat back into the ground, hiding within its helmet once more - waiting briefly before emerging again if the player has yet to leave its territory. The Met is only vulnerable to damage from most weapons when exposed and attacking. It will also automatically turn around to face the player's horizontal position, and can thus fire its projectiles in two different directions.

In Mega Man Powered Up, a Met could be flipped over and exposed with a Proto Strike, a second level Charge Shot, detonating a Hyper Bomb next to them, or a surfed Oil Slider. However, this behavior does not exist in Mega Man Maker, as Mets were unable to be flipped in their original debut title.
The Sabotall (occasionally regarded as the Cactuspy) is a met-class enemy that debuted in Mega Man Powered Up. The Sabotall resembles most other Mets, but it wears a distinctive spiny cactus as headwear instead of a helmet. It first appeared in Oil Man's stage.

The Sabotall will make its debut in version 1.10.0 of Mega Man Maker.

Behavior
Initially after spawning, the Sabotall will be hidden in the ground, wearing its cactus helmet as camouflage. The cactus will deflect incoming projectiles, such as the Mega Buster, leaving the Sabotall unharmed. It will then fire off five cactus needles in different directions - one upwards, two diagonally upwards, and two to the left and right. It will then pop out of the ground and start walking away from the player, reversing direction if it collides with a wall of tiles or other terrain. The Sabotall is vulnerable to attacks in this state. After a short walk, it will hop back into the ground once more, submerging itself and rendering the Sabotall impervious to damage. It will then repeat this pattern.

Their cactus helmet can be burnt by Fire Storm or other fire-based weapons, which will prevent them from using their needle attack or defending against damage; however, their burnt helmet will still deflect the player's projectiles. Instead of firing cactus needles while hidden, a Sabotall with a burnt helmet will instead pop out of the ground, let out of a puff of smoke, walk back and forth before retreating into its helmet and repeating its pattern. Additionally, a Sabotall can be set in the Level Builder to start off with a burnt helmet.

Trivia
* The Sabotall is capable of walking across Quicksand with ease without sinking.
* Sabotall will be the first wholly original enemy from Mega Man Powered Up to be added to Mega Man Maker, not counting older enemies added in the remake such as Hothead and Shield Cannon.
** In fact, it is the only original enemy to be created only for Mega Man Powered Up, with the exception of some bosses.
*As 1.10.0 is focusing on adding assets as per the choice of members of the development team, Sabotall was chosen by Neo Cutman to be added for the update.
*During the development of 1.10, "Cactuspy" was the name chosen for the enemy. However, a poll was held among the development team members to choose the name for the enemy. Although most team members chose the "Goldstorm" option as a joke, Meka ultimately settled on the name Sabotall.
}}The Neo Met is the second entry of the Met series, and an upgraded version of the standard Met. Unlike its predecessor, it was given feet so that it could walk around freely. The Neo Met was introduced in Mega Man 2 as an enemy in Crash Man's stage, as well as the fourth level of the Wily Castle - although it did appear, albeit with different behavior, when summoned by the Guts Tank at the end of Wily Stage 3.

Neo Met debuted in the initial release of Mega Man Maker, 1.0.0.

Level Builder
The Neo Met is designated to the 5th layer, along with tiles and most level objects. It has zero customizable attributes or options.

Behavior
The Neo Met will sit in place, completely impervious to most sources of damage as it hides underneath its helmet, deflecting projectiles. Once the player enters a distance of around 4 tiles away, similarly to the Met, it will emerge and fire a set of three projectiles straight forwards and in the diagonal directions. After doing so, it will wait momentarily before sprinting a distance of exactly three tiles forward, off of any ledges or pits in its direction. It will continue moving forward at the same velocity when falling through the air. Once the Neo Met has moved this distance, it will lose all momentum, and submerge itself into the ground once more. Whilst emerged, it can be attacked and destroyed freely.

The Neo Met will automatically turn towards the player, but only if it is submerged. This means that it can double back and return to its previous position once provoked.clr
The Train Met is a Met variant that originates from Mega Man 5. It rides a small train slowly and can deflect most weapon shots. Once it gets within five tiles of the player, it shoots three projectiles like most of the other Mets and goes at a faster speed, also becoming vulnerable in the process. After bumping into walls six times, it will automatically explode.
It is a stationery enemy that only becomes active once the player approaches it. Once it is active, it will raise its cannon and fire a large ball projectile at the player that can be destroyed or turned into Concrete blocks. If the player is on the opposite side of it once it raises itself up, it will turn itself to face them and fire.
The Fire Met is a Met variant with a flame on its head. Unlike other versions of the Met, it never hides under a helmet. This enemy constantly walks in one direction and flips if it collides with a wall. If the Fire Met is at the edge of terrain, it will jump off of it and attempt to resume its current direction. Because of its AI, it is often used as an enemy escort. Its initial direction can be set in the Level Builder.

Fire Met can come out of a Fire Met Spawner, which is solid and can be temporarily stunned with electricity. The direction the Mets go after falling from it can be set in the Level Builder.
The Camouflametall is a Met variant hiding under a fake Life instead of its standard helmet. It originates from Wily stage 3 and the Special Stage in Mega Man 9. Camoflametall's behavior is similar to the original Mega Man 1 Met, hiding in its helmet waiting until the player is close before firing its weapon.

In Mega Man Maker, a Camouflametall has the option of multiple helmet variants as its helmet, with the majority of those variants being fake Pickups:
*?-Tank (red, bright red, and green)
*Large weapon energy
*Large health
*Life (changes depending upon the character)
*Anti Yashichi
*Kamikamin (chest)
*Yashichi
*E-Tank
*M-Tank

A Camouflametall with an Anti Yashichi or a Bass Life will have angry eyes while one with a Roll Life will blush. A Camouflametall with a ?-Tank will have green or red eyelids depending on the color of the ?-Tank.

Weaknesses
When the player uses Flash Stopper or Centaur Flash while a Camouflametall is hiding under its helmet, when time is unfrozen, it will remain stunned, exposing itself and rolling its eyes for five seconds. However, the player can still be damaged by contact with a Camouflametall while it is stunned.

The Weapon Magic Card has the ability to steal the Camouflametall's fake helmet, leaving a surprised naked Met who then self destructs shortly afterwards. Touching a naked Camouflametall is not advised as it can still damage the player. While exposed, a Camouflametall can also be defeated instantly before self destructing.

Fixed bugs
*Prior to version 1.9.3, Camouflametall did not shoot when Time Slow was active.
*Prior to version 1.9.4.1, Camouflametall could crash the game after the player went through a transition because its sprite was not loaded.
*Prior to version 1.9.4, Camouflametall's icon would change to a Life pickup when touching a Character Capsule regardless of if it was a Life pickup or not to begin with.
Numetall is a slug metall that looks like the original immobile variant of the Met. It appears in Pump Man's stage in Mega Man 10.

This version can be either on the floor or sticking to the ceiling crawling about slowly. If the player shoots it may protect itself by hiding under its helmet.

Numetall shoots slimy projectiles that do not damage the player, but if make contact stick to player making them slippery temporarily as if on ice tiles.
The projectiles are fired in bursts of three and travel in the same pattern of spread trajectory as the Met and Neo Met's bullets.
However, unlike Mega Man 10, firing player shots cannot remove the Numetall's sticky projectiles from the player. The projectiles self-dissolve from the player within a short period.

In Mega Man Maker Numetall's slimy slippery chemical projectiles can increase the acidity of Mega Man 11 Chemical Solution.

When spawned in, a Hell Metall DX will travel towards the player with its shield in front of itself and its back exposed. It will turn around upon reaching a ledge or a wall. After shielding itself for three seconds, a Hell Metall DX will lift its shield up to leave its side exposed for four seconds. Once the player deals enough damage to it, the treads of the Hell Metal DX will be destroyed: the enemy will be launched backwards and remain stationary on any terrain it lands on.

Once stationary, a Hell Metall DX will face the player and shield itself from the player. Every two seconds, it will throw a projectile from the top of its helmet at the player. When hit by the player's charge shot, a Hell Metall DX will be temporarily stunned, leaving itself vulnerable to the player's projectiles as it leaves its shield up.
The Metall Sniper is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a variant of the Met with a cannon attached to its armored helmet.

When a Metall Sniper is spawned in, its cannon points towards the player's direction. If the player is on the same side as the Metall Sniper's cannon, the cannon is oriented at one of four different angles (horizontally, diagonally above the horizontal, or slightly above or below the horizontal) and readjusts depending on the player's position. If the player is on the opposite side of the Metall Sniper's cannon, the cannon points horizontally.

If the player is further than two tiles from a Metall Sniper, a projectile is fired at the player every three seconds. If the player is closer than two tiles to a Metall Sniper, it charges horizontally in two short bursts: first in the direction that its cannon is pointing then in the player's direction before repeating its pattern.

A Metall Sniper comes in two colour variants: yellow and blue, and black and white.
The Kanigance is a giant enemy crab and miniboss originating from Mega Man 7, where it appeared in Burst Man's stage, as well as the third level of the Wily Castle. It is armed with a set of large, mechanical claws with built-in cannons for firing bursts of plasma, and its nozzle is capable of blowing bubbles through the use a special chemical solution.

Kanigance debuted in version 1.10.0 of Mega Man Maker.

Level Builder
Other than the default purple-yellow option, Kanigance has three additional color variants in the Level Builder: green-cyan, red-blue, and yellow-gray.

Behavior
In its default state, the Kanigance has very limited mobility, and will walk back and forth a distance of approximately one tile. After moving, it will be prompted to attack by firing a volley of three plasma bolts consecutively - either straight forward or diagonally upwards, depending on the player's position. It will then return to its initial position, and spit out a trio of bubbles in a spread-out formation. These bubbles will explode upon contact with a wall (or if they are manually popped by the player's weapons), splitting into a pair of smaller bubbles, which are flung towards the player's position similarly to the explosive shrapnel of a Jet Bomb. These smaller bubbles will also pop upon contact with a wall, or if they are damaged.

As the Kanigance is damaged, it will begin to overheat, with its color subtly changing in the process. As it starts to overheat, it will incorporate a new attack into its pattern - floating upwards and charging straight forward with the propulsion of its powerful thruster. The player can slide, Charge Kick, or roll directly underneath the Kanigance as it charges. After crashing into the wall, the Kanigance will fall to the ground, leaving itself completely vulnerable to attack. After recovering, it will jump backwards, in an attempt to return to its initial position.

Once the Kanigance is destroyed, it will increase the acidity of any Burst Water and Chemical Solution it is exposed to.

The Kanigance is also considered a miniboss, and as such, its presence in a room will lock any Boss Doors in the vicinity. It must be destroyed for the doors to be unlocked.

Trivia
* The Kanigance is one of the few assets seemingly unaffected by Burst Water's color filter.
* As 1.10.0 is focusing on adding assets as per the choice of members of the development team, Kanigance was chosen by Chombey and TheButcherKevin to be added for the update.
The Boss Door is a placeable Level Object in the boss item category. The door acts as a one-way gate, preventing the player from returning the way they came, as it only opens in one direction. Curiously, only the side of the Boss Door that the player cannot enter through is considered a solid object. Crossing one resets enemies and level objects to their original positions. The player can only pass through a Boss Door if there is enough space on the other side of the door to pass through.

Horizontal doors are entered by simply walking through them, while vertical doors are entered by falling/jumping through it, or climbing a ladder into it.

In versions prior to 1.5.0, the Boss Door could be crossed if there was a boss or a miniboss. However, those versions were left unavailable for backwards compatibility, while prior versions block the access to the other side while there is at least one boss active or if there is a miniboss enemy visible alongside the Boss Door. This was done to adapt the Boss Doors to the concept of multiple bosses introduced in that update. As of version 1.10.0, the "miniboss" enemies included in Mega Man Maker are Hot Dog, Tama, Whopper, Squidon, Lantern Fish, Hyoey, Snoler, Oni Robo (all variants), Suzak and Fenix, Kanigance, and VAN Pookin. If one or more of these enemies are in a screen connected to one with a Boss Door but too distant to be in the same line of sight, the Boss Door can be used.

Glitches
*The Boss Door can easily be used to enter an unused space in a level. This can be done by simply placing the door next to (for vertical Boss Doors) or above/below (for horizontal Boss Doors) an unused space, causing the player to be transported through the door into the unused area.
**In an unused area, the player can sometimes clip through vertical walls. If there are tiles at the top of the section under the unused section, the player will stand 3 tiles above the actual position of these tiles.
*Boss Doors in versions prior to 1.5.0 can be crossed if there was a boss despite it betraying their purpose.

Trivia
*Boss Doors in the official games come in many shapes and sizes. As of 1.9.4.3, there are only classic white vertical and horizontal doors with a height of 4 tiles.
