|description=Charging lets you dash and break Pluto Blocks. You'll get I-frames too!
|category=Weapons
}}

Break Dash is Pluto's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man V. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.

If the shoot key is pressed (uncharged shot), the player will shoot out a projectile akin to the Mega Buster, but with double the normal damage. Uncharged shots cost no weapon energy, making it an objective and marked damage upgrade to the Mega Buster in a level with its charge shots disabled (and arguably still even with charge enabled).

If they hold the shoot key down then release it (charged shot), they will perform a dash damaging any enemy in their path, with the addition of being granted invincibility frames during and after the dash (marked by a flickering sprite afterwards). The dash automatically ends after a set amount of time, dashing off a ledge, or by running into either a solid object or an enemy that isn't destroyed by the dash. It can also be prematurely ended by the player via either hitting the jump button (can slide out of it, too) or turning the opposite direction.

It's also important to note that the dash will only be performed if the player is touching solid ground; even if the shoot key is released in the air after charging the weapon, the game will wait until the player is no longer airborne before initiating the dash. This means the player can still shoot uncharged shots in the air while holding on to their charge, provided that the shoot key is held again before touching ground.

Just like in Mega Man V, a charged Break Dash has the ability to destroy Pluto Blocks. Break Dash is also the only player weapon as of Mega Man Maker 1.8.0 that can destroy Bokazurah Blocks.
It remains motionless (usually positioned on the ceiling) until the player either fires while it's on screen or approaches close enough to trigger its behavior. It then drops down towards the ground and bounds back up to the ceiling, intermittently firing off two slow moving shots at steep angles vaguely in the player's direction. Charging a shot (if applicable) and firing it with proper timing is ideal as a charged shot deals just enough damage to eliminate a Bounder.

In the Level Editor, the Bounder's color can be changed between red and green, and the enemy itself can be spawned anywhere there is room, considered a 2x3 enemy for placement purposes. No matter where Bounder is originally positioned when triggered in-game, it will always bound back up to the ceiling before dropping back down and repeating. If there is no ceiling to return to, Bounder will simply leap off-screen and despawn.
"Salt Water" is a weapon originating in the Gameboy game "Mega Man V." It was the signature weapon of the Stardroid "Neptune." It was added in Mega Man Maker version 1.8.0.

Salt Water when initially fired produces a circular water projectile that travels in an upward arc that gradually falls. Salt Water projectiles cannot travel through surfaces. If the main water projectile strikes a surface instead of an enemy, it will split into three smaller droplets that will scatter out and downwards in different directions.

When fired underwater the projectile physics are altered increasing the rising arc of the main projectile. The three water droplets will gradually lift from the main projectile as it travels underwater. If the main projectile splits underwater any remaining droplets of the three will scatter in a larger arc.

Being water based Salt Water can douse Flame Pillars, extinguish Oil fires, dilute Chemical Solution and temporarily disable Napalm Fire.

If the shoot key is pressed, the player slashes in front of them and sends out a wave at the end. The wave can bounce off of surfaces and soon goes upward in a parabola. However, the projectile will not fire if any hits from the melee land. You can tell if damage taken was from the projectile via a blue slashing effect appearing on the damaged enemy.

If the slide key is pressed with the weapon equipped, the player dashes and slashes in front of them, damaging anything in the player's path. The player is invincible during this dash, but is immediately vulnerable afterwards. This, coupled with the dash's underwhelming damage, means it's best utilized for plowing through enemies with low health (unfortunately it can't destroy Spines) or bypassing damaging hazards with small hitboxes.
