The '''Hotchkiss'n''' is an [[enemy]] from ''[[Mega Man 6]]'', which resembles a flying stapler with a built-in propeller. It originally appeared in Tomahawk Man's stage, as well as in the Mr. X stages and the Wily stages.

Hotchkiss'n debuted in version [[1.7.0]] of ''[[Mega Man Maker]]''.

== Level Builder ==
The Hotchkiss'n is designated to [[Layer]] 6 (Close front), which means that it can be placed over [[tiles]] and most [[Level Objects|level objects]], and it takes up a space of 2x2 in the editor. Its initial facing direction can also be determined manually and customized.

== Behavior ==
The Hotchkiss'n will fly overhead on the horizontal axis towards the [[player]]'s horizontal position, until is vertically aligned and above the player. It will then dispense a small spiked projectile which falls downwards, stopping briefly and snapping shut while doing so. It will then repeat this pattern over and over until it is destroyed, routinely checking the player's position and adjusting its direction accordingly. The Hotchkiss'n is a very frail enemy, as it only has 1 health, but it can be deceptively dangerous if it remains out of reach for too long.

* The Hotchkiss'n's name is derived from "Hotchkiss", which is similar to the Japanese word for "Stapler".
