V1ral participated as a judge on a few [[Challenge event]] contests such as "Intro to 1.3". He became a challenge coordinator alongside [[Aze]] during the challenge event "Nature's Wrath" but stepped down from the position after the Level Creation Contest in 2019. V1ral and [[BushBacon]] were the assistants for Level Creation Contest 2019 while Aze was the host. He assisted NotQuiteHere asa moderator and in contests held in the Unofficial mega Man Maker Challenge Event server.

On June 12, 2021 Challenge events were brought back with NotQuiteHere reinstated as Challenge Coordinator and V1ral and Very Clean Guy as assistant challenge coordinators. However, V1ral left on September 18, 2021.
