Pickups are a category of placeable objects in Mega Man Maker, most serving to to aid the player. The game originally had 7 pickups to choose from. As of version 1.8.5.2, there are 16 pickup related items in the Pickup category.

Trivia
- When collecting Health, Weapon Energy, or Life, the game will briefly pause while the collected energy is replenished. This is also true for weapons not currently equipped that are replenished because of the Energy Balancer.
- E-Tanks, M-Tanks, and Yashichis are the only pickups in the game that cannot be grabbed by Hornet Chaser, Ring Boomerang, or Magic Card.
- Items that were placed in the editor do not despawn and their location kept track of. This means that if the player were to use a Ring Boomerang, Hornet Chaser, or Magic Card, the new location of a Health or Weapon Energy will be saved if the player leaves the room and comes back.
- Weapon Capsules will not respawn after the player touches them. This is true even if the player touches a checkpoint afterwards and respawns from the checkpoint. Character Capsules however respawn after the player dies.
