In Mega Man Maker
When spawned, they will fly horizontally towards the player's position on the x-axis, and will continue in that direction even if it passes the player. It will however, reverse its direction of travel if it collides with something resembling a wall.

Behavior
When a Mag Fly travels above the player, they will be pulled into the air, just slightly over 1 tile high, and be carried by the enemy's magnetism. The player can move around in all four directions within the magnetic field, and are still able to shoot their equipped weapons. Destroying the Mag Fly while being magnetized, or using the directional buttons to leave the Mag Fly's magnetic field, will return the player to normal.
When Yambow is spawned in front of the the player on the x-axis, it will travel vertically downward from off-screen to the area it was placed in the Level Builder, travel horizontally to 1.5 tiles behind the player, travel vertically downwards to match the player's location on the y-axis, then travel horizontally in the direction of the player in until it disappears off-screen to the left, or is destroyed. When Yambow is spawned behind the player on the x-axis, it will travel vertically downward from off-screen to the area it was placed, travel horizontally to 1.5 tiles in front of the player, travel vertically downwards to match the player's location on the y-axis, then travel horizontally in the direction of the player in until it disappears off-screen to the right, or is destroyed.

Yambow is not affected by Tileset or Level Object collision detection, and can fly through them at will.
Mag Flies can be troublesome as they can potentially pull the player away from areas they want to travel to, or pull them into dangerous hazards, but they can also just as equally be useful, for traversing over large bottomless pits, large beds of spikes or burning oil, or over high walls, that the player may not otherwise be able to get across.

Level Builder
Originally in Mega Man 3, Mag Flies where immune to Magnet Missile, Search Snake, and Spark Shock. This is not the case in Mega Man Maker, where Magnet Missile and Search Snake can damage the Mag Flies.
Yambow can be set as one of two colors in the Level Builder: blue or red.

Trivia
*If the player is currently being carried by a Mag Fly's magnetism, if another Mag Fly appears and also magnetizes the player, the newer Mag Fly's magnetism will be given priority.
*If multiple Mag Flies traveling in the same direction, with identical locations on the x-axis, magnetize the player all at the same time, the power of the magnetism will stack.

Mag Fly is a small robot fly with a propeller on its top, eyes on the center of its body, and a magnet on its bottom. This enemy originates from Mega Man 3 from Magnet Man's stage and reapears in Mega Man II and Mega Man: The Wily Wars.

When spawned, they will fly horizontally towards the player's position on the x-axis, and will continue in that direction even if it passes the player. It will however, reverse its direction of travel if it collides with something resembling a wall.

Originally in Mega Man 3, Mag Flies where immune to Magnet Missile, Search Snake, and Spark Shock. This is not the case in Mega Man Maker, where Magnet Missile and Search Snake can damage the Mag Flies.

Trivia

 • If the player is currently being carried by a Mag Fly's magnetism, if another Mag Fly appears and also magnetizes the player, the newer Mag Fly's magnetism will be given priority.
 • If multiple Mag Flies traveling in the same direction, with identical locations on the x-axis, magnetize the player all at the same time, the power of the magnetism will stack.
