DWN-035 Stone Man is one of the 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 5 that is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.0.0. Through the forces of gravity and mastery over stones, Stone Man utilizes his signature weapon, the Power Stone, to smack down those who dare challenge him.
DWN-049 Freeze Man is one of the eight Robot Master bosses from Mega Man 7. He was added to Mega Man Maker in 1.7.0 His signature weapon is the Freeze Cracker. He was originally created to create non-polluting energy but was later modified by Dr. Wily into a combat robot.

Built by Dr. Wily to assist Dark Man with Wily's evil scheme, he was used to assist in gaining control of hanging gardens by securing a nearby mountain. This eventually resulted in him fighting Mega Man. He later came back to help Wily once again during Mega Man IV's events, where he was once again beaten by Mega Man.

Behavior
Behavior
If Stone Man is less than five tiles away from the player horizontally, Stone Man will react with one of two behaviors at random:
Freeze Man remains still, taunting the player. If the player fires first, Freeze Man makes a high jump to use the Freeze Cracker. If the player moves first, Freeze Man starts walking. While walking, he will jump upwards and will throw the Freeze Cracker downwards, freezing the floor. If the player is on the ground while this happens, they will be stuck and will have to press multiple buttons to break free or will have to wait until they get hit. Freeze Man will then come to the ground and will throw one Freeze Cracker up to the ceiling. This will form icicles on the ceiling. If there is no ceiling however, they will simply spawn from the top of the screen. The icicles will later fall and will destroy parts of the frozen floor, removing the ice physics from it. While this happens, Freeze Man will throw a Freeze Cracker projectile at the player. If they get hit, they will be frozen until they get hit again or press multiple buttons. The effects of the downwards and upwards Freeze Cracker will go after a while if the player does not get hit.

*Near Behavior A: Slow medium jump in the player's direction.
Similarly to his fight in Dr. Wily's Castle in Mega Man 7, if Freeze Man is hit by the player's Freeze Cracker or another ice weapon such as Ice Slasher, the weapon will deal damage like normal but Freeze Man and the player will stop in place. Freeze Man is affected by gravity during this phase while the player is not. Freeze Man will then mock the player, recover 5 HP, unfreeze the player and himself and resume normal behavior. However, he will not stop in place or heal if an ice weapon is set as his primary weakness.
*Near Behavior B: Fast high jump in the player's direction, attempting to land on the player. Upon landing from the high jump, Stone Man will enter a "broken state".
If Stone Man is five tiles or more away from the player horizontally, Stone Man will react with this behavior:

*Far Behavior: Stone Man will perform a brief shake animation, before activating his Power Stone, which will leave 2 large stones orbiting out in a spiral path from where he originally was. Once he does this, he will also do a fast high jump in the player's direction, attempting to land on the player. Upon landing from the high jump, Stone Man will enter a "broken state".

While Stone Man is in his "broken state", he can't be harmed, but will still damage the player if touched. He will soon after re-assemble himself and start his pattern over again.

Originally, in Mega Man 5, If he collided with a wall while airborne, he would rebound off it and move in the opposite direction with no loss in momentum. This behaviour does not occur in Mega Man Maker.

Glitches
Glitches
*Due to Stone Man's excessive jumping, it's not uncommon for him to clip on walls causing him to either act as though he's landed while still in mid-air or on rare occasion completely enter the wall. It can happen in any Boss room conventional or otherwise, but is more common if the ground includes or mostly consists of a moving entity such as the Footholder enemies or Crash Lifts.
*In version 1.7.1, if the player was frozen by Freeze Man's Freeze Cracker and was hit after getting frozen or tried to break out, the game would sometimes crash. This was likely due to the sound effect for breaking out of ice not being set properly. This was fixed in version 1.7.2

Trivia
Trivia
*Despite Stone Man's official art and other official appearances showing him with a green power core in his chest, his in-game Mega Man 5 sprite shows him having a red one. It's unknown if this was due to a miscommunication or technical limitation forcing them to differ. The gem being green appears to be the official coloration as all of Stone Man's other official art and later game appearances also show it as being green.
*Freeze Man is one of the Robot Masters that react to weapons. In Freeze Man's case, he heals after getting hit by any ice weapon.
*He is supposedly good friends with Guts Man due to them having similar appearances.
*Freeze Man is also one of two Robot Masters that will not attack or move until the player does so. The only other Robot Master with such behavior is Skull Man.
*Due to how their AI functions, Stone Man, Bomb Man and Toad Man can be manipulated into never attacking using their signature weapons, if the player never triggers the required conditions for those attacks to occur.

Behavior

Glitches

 • In version 1.7.1, if the player was frozen by Freeze Man's Freeze Cracker and was hit after getting frozen or tried to break out, the game would sometimes crash. This was likely due to the sound effect for breaking out of ice not being set properly. This was fixed in version 1.7.2

Trivia

 • Freeze Man is one of the Robot Masters that react to weapons. In Freeze Man's case, he heals after getting hit by any ice weapon.
 • Freeze Man is also one of two Robot Masters that will not attack or move until the player does so. The only other Robot Master with such behavior is Skull Man.
