Battan initially appears still in a set direction. When the playable character stands over it, it jumps the times it is set to and stops to face the other direction, only moving the same number of jumps back if the player character stands over it again. The number of jumps can be customized in the Level Builder, with the option to give it three low jumps, two high jumps, or randomly going through two or three jumps[1]. As a solid asset, Battan is able to carry Push Blocks over it or stop Force Beams.
