Moving Light Darkness is an Object added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0 and is based on a feature of the game Mega Man & Bass.
Whenever Moving Light Darkness is added to a room in the Editor, once ingame that specific room will have completely hidden the background and all tiles in solid black only leaving Player Characters, Enemies, and Level Objects visible.
The companion Object Moving Light gives the ability to add small spheres of light to rooms darkened by the Moving Light Darkness Object. Moving Light Redirector and Moving Light Terminator are used in conjunction with Moving Light to modify it's behavior in Darkness.
Interactions
Many Enemies that are fire or electricity based and projectiles they shoot that are fire or electric based can also add small amounts of light helping the player see in darkened rooms. Some fire examples are Tackle Fire, Hothead and Hot Dog with some electric examples being Electric Gabyoall, Electriri, and Plasma.
Level Objects that are fire or electric based can also light the way such as Fire Beam, Flame Pillar and Elec Beam.
Player Weapons can also illuminate darkened rooms to varying degrees, especially fire and electric based weapons. The following are known to provide light when used...
