Dr. Cossack
Doctor Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack, known simply as Dr. Cossack, is the main antagonist of Mega Man 4, although he makes minor appearances in other titles.
During Mega Man 4, his daughter Kalinka was kidnapped by Dr. Wily and Dr. Cossack was blackmailed into reprogramming his robot masters for a world domination scheme. After Kalinka was rescued by Proto Man, Cossack apologized to Mega Man and returned to his normal work.
In Mega Man Maker
In version 1.7.5 and prior, Dr. Cossack only appeared as a profile icon available since 1.0.0.
As of 1.8.0, Dr. Cossack is present in the form of Cossack Catcher, his boss fight from his source game. In addition, an additional profile icon was added for him that is also used in levels where the Cossack Catcher is the only boss present.
Trivia
- Dr. Cossack created Beat for Mega Man. This was only described in Mega Man 5's manual.
- Dr. Cossack created Tundra Man from Mega Man 11.
