| When activated, it surrounds the user with a shield made of sharp leaves that can nullify enemy projectiles. The shield can hit multiple times, and by pressing left/right/up/down, it can be thrown in those directions, passing through all enemies, terrain, and reflective objects as it does. Only armored enemies can deflect the Leaf Shield. Additionally, the weapon only consumes energy when thrown. Sliding, dashing, or rolling does not launch the shield, and it won't fly off if it's activated while moving either. [[Moles]], [[Hot Dog]], and every member of the [[Spine]] family will be defeated instantly on contact with this weapon.
