Explosive Crates are level objects originating from Grenade Man's stage in Mega Man 8. They are featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
They come in four colors: red, green blue and purple. If hit by a weapon enough times, they will explode. However, they will only trigger a chain reaction if adjacent crates have the same color as them.
