| It allows the user to fire energy shots that can be aimed in seven directions, and there is an onscreen limit of four shots. However, they cannot pass through solid tiles and objects, and each shot deals half the damage that the [[Mega Buster]] or [[Proto Buster]] would. To help with aiming, the user cannot move and shoot at the same time while on the ground. Rapid-firing is possible by holding down the attack key.
