It lets the user create a small platform that bounces along the ground, and unlike in ''Mega Man 2'', it can be stood on while it does. When the platform touches a wall, it will begin to climb up it, disappearing when there's nothing left to climb or when it's within two tiles of a ceiling. If the user stands on it while it's climbing, then gets off it, it will begin to climb downwards unless the top of a wall is reached. The player can also stand on Item-3 while it is bouncing along the floor which would protect the player from crossing a floor of spikes.

Enemies, [[Push Block]]s, and [[Soccer Ball Jet]]s can all be carried by Item-3.
It stays still most of the time, occasionally throwing bones at the player. If if gets hit by a weapon, it will crumble before getting back up shortly after. While it is destroyed, it cannot be hit.

Item-3 is a Special Weapon originating from Mega Man 2, and reappearing in Mega Man: The Wily Wars. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.2.0.

It lets the user create a small platform that bounces along the ground, and unlike in Mega Man 2, it can be stood on while it does. Enemies, Push Blocks, and Soccer Ball Jets can all be carried by Item-3.
