DWN-011 Bubble Man  is one of the 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 2 that is featured in Mega Man Maker since the 1.2.0 update. He fights by jumping underwater armed with his cannon and signature weapon, the Bubble Lead.

Yellow Devil is one of the fortress bosses in Mega Man 1, originating from the first Wily stage. It is featured in Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0.
Built by Dr. Wily to have supremacy in aquatic combat, his Bubble Lead is a danger to those who face him underwater. However, due to an oversight by Wily, he is reduced to being nearly helpless if dragged onto land where he will be unable to move. He fought against Mega Man in his underwater den full of spikes in Mega Man 2 and would later face him again in Mega Man 3 after having his combat data transferred into a Doc Robot body. He later comes back in Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge with other four robot masters from Mega Man 2, fighting Mega Man before Enker.

The boss splits itself in blobs that go from a side to another. Yellow Devil can be set to have its eye static or randomly appear in its body, to shoot or not to shoot, or how many bullets he shoots.
Behavior
Depending if he is in water, Bubble Man has two possible attack patterns. In water he behaves similarly to like he did in Mega Man 2, swimming towards the player while firing Bubble Leads and spurts of water. On land, he comically falls over and will then begin to cry. He will not move in this state, but he will still fire Bubble Leads at the player with intervals.

Behavior
Bubble Man's Bubble Lead behaves differently depending if Bubble Man is inside or outside of water when he uses it. When fired in water, the Bubble Leads will bounce along the floor and will continue bouncing until reaching a wall, where they pop and despawn. Ceilings limit the height of the Bubbles, while they will bounce at a lower maximum height if they leave water. When Bubble Man is on land when Bubble Lead is fired, they fall to the ground and travel along it until reaching a wall. If a Bubble Lead is initially shot outside water, it will not start bouncing if they enter water while they are traveling along the floor. However, a bubble fired while Bubble Man jumped over water will bounce when it enters in contact with water. In both cases, the Bubble Lead projectiles disappear when they collide with a wall in their path.

Intro
Regardless of how the Bubble Lead is used, it will reduce the acidity of a Chemical Solution pool. The bubbles despawn while diluting in the Chemical Solution while they reduce the acidity.
* If the Mega Man 1 intro is selected, the Yellow Devil will fly in from the side of the screen in a pattern, stopping when he reaches his position in the editor. Getting hit by the pieces will cause the player to take damage.
* If the Mega Man Maker intro is selected, it will instead form from the top of the screen. Note that while this will normally happen apart from the player, if the player has free movement from exiting a teleporter, this can still damage them. This does not happen if the player is frozen in place.

Attacking
Trivia
* After forming, the Yellow Devil will open his eye and fire projectiles at the player. The position will either be random or in a set location depending on what is selected in the editor. This eye is the only weak point of the boss, and must be hit to deal damage. The Yellow Devil will fire between one and nine projectiles depending on its settings.
*The way Bubble Man's Bubble Lead behaves when Bubble Man is outside water is similar to how Mega Man used the move in Mega Man 2.
*If he jumps in and out of water in quick succession, it may lead to him spamming the Bubble Lead more than he could otherwise.
*The way that Bubble Man cries while stuck on land is possibly a reference to Aqua Man.exe, a Net Navi from the Mega Man Battle Network series based on Aqua Man from Mega Man 8.
*His Bubble Leads reduce the acidity of a Chemical Solution despite some sources stating that the bubbles are made of sulphuric acid. Luigi stated that the team did not consider Bubble Lead to be acid due to being mostly made of water and lead, which are not acidic substances.

Splitting
Video Tutorial
* Once the Yellow Devil has fired his projectiles, he will close his eye and split apart piece by piece. The pattern for the split is always the same, and can be learned to effectively avoid it. Each piece will move to a position set in the editor. Getting hit by any piece will deal damage. Once he has reformed, he will open his eye and continue his attacking pattern.

Trivia
Gallery
* According to Luigi in the 1.8 reveal livestream, Yellow Devil had to be programmed twice due to an error occurring while saving its files.
<gallery>
* The Yellow Devil has a grayed-out option when used in the editor for alternate attack patterns. According to the devs, this was for alternate patterns during his splitting phase that wasn't finished in time for 1.8's release.

* The Mega Man Maker pattern for Yellow Devil's intro is similar to how he appears on the Wily Castle stage in Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate.

DWN-011 Bubble Man is one of the 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 2 that is featured in Mega Man Maker since the 1.2.0 update. He fights by jumping underwater armed with his cannon and signature weapon, the Bubble Lead.

Regardless of how the Bubble Lead is used, it will reduce the acidity of a Chemical Solution pool. The bubbles despawn while diluting in the Chemical Solution while they reduce the acidity.

Trivia

 • The way Bubble Man's Bubble Lead behaves when Bubble Man is outside water is similar to how Mega Man used the move in Mega Man 2.
 • If he jumps in and out of water in quick succession, it may lead to him spamming the Bubble Lead more than he could otherwise.
 • The way that Bubble Man cries while stuck on land is possibly a reference to Aqua Man.exe, a Net Navi from the Mega Man Battle Network series based on Aqua Man from Mega Man 8.
 • His Bubble Leads reduce the acidity of a Chemical Solution despite some sources stating that the bubbles are made of sulphuric acid. Luigi stated that the team did not consider Bubble Lead to be acid due to being mostly made of water and lead, which are not acidic substances.[1]
