Other

  • Mega Man 3 introduced the Slide to move quicker and to pass through tight corridors. Mega Man can use it if it is enabled and Proto Man always has the ability.
  • Rush Jet debuted in this game as well, but it acts much differently here. In this game, Rush follows the player’s input and can move in any direction. His Weapon Energy will also only deplete if Mega Man is standing on him. Rush Jet in Mega Man Maker functions more like how it does in Mega Man 4 and onwards.
  • When a level has no bosses or multiple bosses, the question mark that originally appeared on Doc Robot stages appears instead.
  • Mega Man and Proto Man's aerial victory pose looks like Mega Man's pose during the weapon get sequence.
