Mega Man 9 (released as “Rockman 9: The Ambition’s Revival!!” in Japan) is the ninth numbered installment of the classic Mega Man series. North American virtual artwork for Mega Man 9.

Mega Man 9 (released as “Rockman 9: The Ambition’s Revival!!” in Japan) is the ninth numbered installment of the classic Mega Man series. It was released on September 22nd, 2008 for WiiWare, and was later ported to the PlayStation Network on September 25th and Xbox Live Arcade on October 1st the same year. Mega Man 9 took a more “back-to-basics" approach to the franchise by adopting aspects from Mega Man 2's design, such as 8-bit graphics and sounds similar to the NES games, as well as removing Mega Man’s ability to slide (introduced in Mega Man 3) and charge his Mega Buster (introduced in Mega Man 4). Proto Man is also playable as a DLC character, he can reflect shots with his shield as well as slide and charge his Proto Buster, with downsides of taking double damage and double knockback from attacks.

In Mega Man Maker

Mega Man Maker had the Teleporters since its beginning. WreckingPrograms intended to put the Caricarry and the Petit Devil since the beginning, but he made them inaccessible because they were still glitchy at the moment.[1]

Among the updates to 1.5.0, many assets from that game were introduced alongside assets from Mega Man 8. The Teleporters were moved from "General" to "Mega Man 9" and modified to allow for more colors and to no longer be usable as long as there were active bosses and the teleporter led to a disconnected screen.

As of Version 1.6.3 there are currently 2 bosses, 14 enemies, 7 level objects, 38 tilesets, 55 backgrounds, 7 weapons, 21 spikes 16 ladders and 14 music tracks from Mega Man 9 available in Mega Man Maker.
