Leaf Shield is Wood Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 2 and reappearing in Mega Man II and Mega Man: The Wily Wars. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.2.0.
Meka is one of the beta testers and programmers of Mega Man Maker. He joined the team on April 5, 2019 after the release of version 1.5.3.

When activated, it surrounds the user with a shield made of sharp leaves that can nullify enemy projectiles. The shield can hit multiple times, and by pressing left/right/up/down, it can be thrown in those directions, passing through all enemies, terrain, and reflective objects as it does. Only armored enemies can deflect the Leaf Shield. Additionally, the weapon only consumes energy when thrown. Sliding, dashing, or rolling does not launch the shield, and it won't fly off if it's activated while moving either. Moles, Hot Dog, and every member of the Spine family will be defeated instantly on contact with this weapon.
Meka participated in the Level Creation Contest 2017 with the level Escape From The Space Station Puzzle. It won first place in the challenge category, and was added as an Example Level in version 1.3.0.

Trivia
Meka created a website for Mega Man Maker streamers and regular players to search levels. It works like an extension of the Online mode, as it can search levels and users by specific categories and allows keeping track of users and levels with specific conditions. In this page, levels can be grouped in a screen similarly to Mega Man X.
* Since Leaf Shield doesn't consume energy upon activation, switching weapons can allow it to be used for free.
* In Mega Man 2, Leaf Shield will slowly fall down off the screen if deflected. This was changed in Mega Man Maker to instead fly off toward the top corner of the screen.
* It originally could not nullify projectiles in its debut game.

Meka substituted Elevenstorms as a programmer after his departure. After trialing as a programmer since July 17, 2020, Meka was officially hired as a programmer for the game on July 25. The first programming contribution he made was adding multiple color variations for Keys and Key Doors for 1.7.0. Meka edited the collisions to improve situations related to top solid objects and moving platforms.

Meka is one of the beta testers and programmers of Mega Man Maker. He joined the team on April 5, 2019 after the release of version 1.5.3.

Meka participated in the Level Creation Contest 2017 with the level Escape From The Space Station Puzzle. It won first place in the challenge category, and was added as an Example Level in version 1.3.0.

Meka created a website for Mega Man Maker streamers and regular players to search levels. It works like an extension of the Online mode, as it can search levels and users by specific categories and allows keeping track of users and levels with specific conditions. In this page, levels can be grouped in a screen similarly to Mega Man X.
