When the attack key is pressed, the player's arm turns into a jackhammer as the player themselves dashes forward 5.5 tiles. When it makes contact with a solid surface or enemy with more than 4 HP, it will make the user recoil off of it, creating an explosion that deals extra damage on top of the dash attack. Both parts of the attack can pierce shielded enemies. While dashing, the user is immune to projectiles and certain hazards such as Force Beams, and if they use Pile Driver while standing on ice tiles, they keep the momentum of the dash until they move.
When the attack key is pressed, the player fires a small ball of electricity that is shot downwards, but can also be aimed upwards depending on whether the corresponding key was pressed or not. Once the ball makes contact with a solid object, it will split into two sparks traveling along floors, walls and ceilings: said sparks will turn into a bigger spark that will stay for a while once they make contact with an enemy or boss, dealing contact damage to them. As an electric-based weapon, it is able to activate Fuse Crossers and Fuse Xtenders, deactivate Fire Met Spawners, and trigger Spring Man's electromagnetism. However, the sparks will despawn once they make contact with an empty Weapon Block or Weapon Barrier.

Since the player slightly jumps when recoiling off of something, using Pile Driver on walls while underwater can allow them to climb upwards. Additionally, it's capable of destroying Cracked Blocks. Crunch Don will take extra damage from this weapon, and can be destroyed in one dash and recoil combo.
If fired while airborne, the user will be briefly held in place, allowing them to slow their fall. If a Fuse Laser Crawler is struck by Scramble Thunder, it will shoot a laser much like when it contacts Fuse Rails. The electric spheres will despawn after 3 seconds if it does not hit anything, and only 3 shots (or 6 crawling sparks) can be onscreen at a time. Wanaan can be destroyed by this weapon.

Scramble Thunder is Fuse Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 11. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.6.0.
