1.9.0 is an upcoming update for Mega Man Maker. It is focused on adding assets from Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8 and Mega Man 11. Level tags were announced to be implemented in the game client for Online after being given support in the game server in 1.8.0.
Robot Master Contest
Announced during the sixth anniversary video, a Robot Master Contest was held for users to vote for the Robot Master they wish to see implemented in version 1.9.0. The bosses to vote for were missing Robot Masters from 8 Bit games (Mega Man 1-6, 9 and 10) with the exception of Gravity Man. On November 9th 2023, Galaxy Man was revealed as the winner of the competition.
