The Roll Swing is Roll's primary default weapon in Mega Man Maker. Unlike the Buster weapons that Mega Man, Proto Man and Bass use, Roll Swing is an entirely melee weapon.

To attack, Roll uses a broom and can perform attack combos with it. While the weapon appeared in Mega Man Powered Up, its functionality is inspired from Zero's use of the Z-Saber in the Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero series. Roll can use a triple combo while she is on-land, while in mid-air she can perform a spin attack. There is an option that allows to charge the broom, which increases its range and power.

Charge Broom

The Charge Broom is an optional ability exclusive to Roll in Mega Man Maker.

If the player has used the Roll Swing, they have the possiblity to hold down the attack button to charge the broom. This way, the broom's range and power will be increased while keeping its shield-piercing attribute. However, this ability cannot be used in mid-air, the charge being automatically cancelled.
