Flame Blast is Flame Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 6. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.4.0.
When shot, it drops a ball projectile in an arc that will erupt into a small pillar of flame when it touches solid terrain. This pillar lingers for half a second, and can affect objects directly above it as well. The initial ball projectile reaches two tiles out if fired on the ground, and it's affected by the low gravity induced by Water, being able to travel farther. It will continue on its path if it defeats an enemy with 2 HP or less. Since it's a fire-based weapon, it can ignite Oil, TNT Blocks, and Hot Plates, as well as melt Ice Walls. Up to three Flame Blasts can be onscreen at a time.
Trivia
- In Mega Man 6, Flame Blast would rebound off of Count Bombs and enemy shields instead of being deflected, and its range was reduced when used underwater. Both of these traits are not present in Mega Man Maker due to differences in programming.
