1.Soccer is a joke update announced on April 1, 2021 by Goldstorm as an April Fools' Day prank. It was advertised as exclusively adding content from Mega Man Soccer along with other soccer-related content. The major feature was announced to be a soccer ball, presumably the Soccer Ball Jet, in three varying sizes: 2x2, 4x4, and 16x16.

The joke update started with an acknowledgment of the various suggestions to implement content from a SNES game, which may be an allusion to fan requests for implementing content from Mega Man & Bass.

==Origin==

While a few developers and moderators were conversing about version updates in the Mega Man Maker Official Server's moderator channel, WreckingPrograms joked about 1.Soccer. Saphy, Goldstorm and some moderators pushed WreckingPrograms to actually announce it. After WreckingPrograms approved the idea and a GIF was proposed in the development server, Goldstorm posted it in the #game_announcements channel.
