Talk:Weapon Block
Noticing that the weapon "Time Slow" was added to the list of weapons that pass through weapon blocks. Just considering the semantics of the statement in relation to the weapon. Time Slow itself, while it's fire animation moves through the blocks, in actuality it's a screen wipe that encompasses the blocks (as well as everything else on screen).
All other listed weapons have a hit registry that passes through the weapon blocks, meaning the projectile and/or melee strike is actually going through them. Essentially it's all the shield piercing weapons. Screen nukes aren't really considered shield piercing weapons, are they (because they surround the enemy, not go through the front of their shields)?
Either all screen nukes need to be added to the list, or Time Slow omitted for the sake of consistency.
I personally feel Screen Nukes are not shield piercers, with the exception of the buster projectiles of Flash Stopper. If Flash Stopper buster shots can pass through grey weapon blocks then I feel it's the only one that belongs on this list out of the Screen Nukes.
- My consensus is if there's a Weapon Block of a weapon behind a Nothing Weapon Block and using the weapon still hits its corresponding Weapon Block, then that weapon should go on the "Weapons that pass through Nothing Weapon Blocks/Barriers" table listed on the Weapon Block page.
- Same for any weapon that pierces a shield, including screen nuke weapons though I don't see how that's relevant to the discussion.
