Weapon Blocks are level objects in Mega Man Maker that can only be destroyed by the weapon that is displayed on their sides; any other weapons will be reflected. Alternatively, a Weapon Block can be set to not be affected by any weapon, making it reflect all weapons. Certain bosses can destroy Weapon Blocks that are set to their weapons, such as Bomb Man being able to destroy Hyper Bomb Weapon Blocks. However, bosses with weapons that have not been implemented for the game are unable to do so, since the Weapon Blocks cannot be set in a weapon that does not exist for the player characters.

The term "Weapon Blocks" can be used to refer to the 2x2 variety. 2x1 or 1x2 blocks of this type are called Weapon Barriers. Until 1.5.5, there was only the 1x2 variety, but a 2x1 variant was added in 1.6.0.

These items are inspired on the weapon blocks from Mega Man Powered Up, which could only be destroyed (or used, in the case of Guts Blocks) with a determined weapon. They are also inspired on the 2x1 or 1x2 blocks that appeared through some entries that required a special weapon to destroy them.

If Proto Man reflects a projectile that hits a weapon block set to his current weapon, the block will be destroyed as if he had hit it with said weapon. This makes it possible to destroy weapon blocks set to weapons that are otherwise unable to destroy the blocks, such as the Support Items from Mega Man 2.
