|Mega Man throwing a Silver Tomahawk.|
Silver Tomahawk is Tomahawk Man's signature weapon from Mega Man 6 that has been in Mega Man Maker since its 1.0.0 Version. When fired, the user will shoot out a spinning axe-like tomahawk projectile that will travel in a curved path with it travelling downward slightly, then rising sharply back up. It is great for hitting shielded enemies from below, attacking low-lying enemies that are hard to attack with frontal shots, or taking out enemies who may be up in the air, but it can be hard or impossible to aim this weapon at distant enemies in the same height.
The Silver Tomahawk also deals slightly less damage in comparison to its original counterpart, due to balance reasons.
- Mega Man Maker treats Silver Tomahawk as a sort of default null-weapon for Weapon Blocks and Weapon Barriers for some reason. In early versions of the game, if one was set to any weapon and then that weapon was replaced with Nothing in the weapons menu, rather than being empty the block would display that it was set to Silver Tomahawk and when play tested would show that it required the weapon to break it. In recent versions of the game however, still for reasons unknown, removing the weapon a Container/Block is set to will now have it display it as being set to Flash Stopper in the editor and correctly being displayed as empty when play tested.
- However for some reason, if the same level is then being played through to be uploaded online, the block will neither appear to be empty or require Flash Stopper and will instead once again display itself as being set to Silver Tomahawk.
- Despite the weapon being called Silver Tomahawk, the weapon appears closer to the bronze colour when used by the player in both Mega Man 6 and Mega Man Maker.
