Ice Wall is Cold Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man & Bass. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
Behavior
When used, a two-tile high ice block will be placed in front of the player. This block can be pushed left or right by running into it and can be stood on. It will bounce off of walls and the player; however, it will break after about 3 seconds or after bouncing off surfaces six times. Spawning Ice Wall near enemies or bosses or pushing an Ice Wall into them will damage them multiple times.
Once the player spawns an Ice Wall or has run out of weapon energy for Ice Wall, the player can fire uncharged buster shots.
Unlike many other weapons, switching weapons will not despawn a created Ice Wall, though pressing the down and shoot buttons at the same time while Ice Wall is equipped will immediately despawn an Ice Wall.
If the wall moves into a body of water, it will float to the surface and cannot be pushed by the player. When stepped on in water, the Ice Wall will bob up and down slightly.
Interactions
- If not set as a weakness, using Ice Wall on Freeze Man or Cold Man will heal them.

Trivia
- The Ice Barrier level object from Mega Man 6 was named 'Ice Wall' prior to 1.8.0. It was likely changed to avoid confusion with the weapon.
- Cold Man was not healed from the weapon prior to 1.8.3.
- Prior to version 1.9.4, the buster shot sound effect was used for both spawning Ice Wall and firing buster shots. New sound effects for spawning Ice Wall, the player pushing Ice Wall, and Ice Wall bouncing off walls were added in version 1.9.4.
- Like in Mega Man & Bass with Mega Man and Bass, Ice Wall has different sprites for the spawn in animation for Mega Man/Roll (four diagonal ice effects forming the wall) and Bass/Proto Man (four diagonal lines forming a cross before forming the wall).
