Mega Man 2 (released as "Rockman 2: The Mystery of Dr. Wily" in Japan) is the second game in the classic Mega Man series, released on December 24, 1988. It was the second Mega Man game released for the NES in Japan and the United States. It is first game that estabilished classic Mega Man formula like having eight robot masters, and is best selling Mega Man game so far.


In Mega Man Maker

Version 1.2.0 focused on adding content from this game and from Mega Man 3. As of Version 1.7.5, there are 5 bosses, 29 enemies, 7 level objects, 28 tilesets, 31 backgrounds, 11 weapons, 4 spikes, 6 ladders and 12 music tracks available from Mega Man 2 in Mega Man Maker.
