{{Incomplete|More info on Camouflametall} and Swim Metall DX} Metalls (also known by the nickname Mets and as Helmet in Mega Man for Game Gear) are one of the most common types of enemies represented in Mega Man Maker. They are robots with a cephalotorax structure and sometimes two legs. Most forms of Met rely on staying under their helmets, protected from all non-piercing weapons, while occasionally making themselves vulnerable to attack. As a trade-off, Metalls often suffer from low damage output and a lack of health.
As of version 1.9.3.1, twelve Met variants are included in Mega Man Maker to use in levels: the original Met, the Neo Met, the Train Met, the Metall Cannon, the Fire Met, the Numetall, the Neo Heli Metall, the Hell Metal DX, the Fukuhorn, the Metall Sniper, the Swim Metall DX and the Camouflametall.

Met
Met | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|
The Met is the first version of the Met in the Mega Man series, appearing in Guts Man's stage in Mega Man 1. It was originally created as an industrial robot for nondescript purposes.
This version of the enemy is stationary, as it has no legs, and it is a template for the behavior of most Mets of posterior games. If the player character is four tiles near or less, the Met will expose its face and shoot three projectiles; one that goes straight and two that go diagonal in opposing directions. Unlike most projectiles, the Met's bullets deal more damage than contact damage. It will turn around so it can face the player.
In Mega Man Powered Up, Mets could be flipped with a Proto Strike, a second level Charge Shot, detonating a Hyper Bomb next to them, or a surfed Oil Slider. However, this behavior does not exist in Mega Man Maker.
Neo Met

The Neo Met is an upgraded version of the standard Met, now featuring feet and the ability to walk. This enemy was introduced in Mega Man 2 and appeared in Crash Man's stage and the third Wily Stage.
It shoots in the same way as the Met, but with larger bullets that deal more damage. It walks after shooting and then hides in its helmet again. If it is not shooting or moving, it turns around to face the player.
Train Met

The Train Met is a Met variant that originates from Mega Man 5. It rides a small train slowly and can deflect most weapon shots. Once it gets within five tiles of the player, it shoots three projectiles like most of the other Mets and goes at a faster speed, also becoming vulnerable in the process. After bumping into walls six times, it will automatically explode.
Metall Cannon
Metall Cannon | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|
The Metall Cannon is a variant of the Met from Mega Man 5 that appears in Napalm Man's stage, Dark Man 2 and 3, and the first stage of Wily's fortress. It is a stationery enemy that only becomes active once the player approaches it. Once it is active, it will raise its cannon and fire a large ball projectile at the player that can be destroyed or turned into Concrete blocks. If the player is on the opposite side of it once it raises itself up, it will turn itself to face them and fire.
Its initial direction can be set in the Level Builder.
Swim Metall DX

Swim Metall DX is a Metall variant from Mega Man 7 wearing a snorkeling tube and blue flippers. It will be added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.9.0.
Swim Metall DX periodically jumps and shoots at the player. It can also be set to double jump and shoot at the player after each jump. A Swim Metall DX can either jump vertically or towards the player.
Fire Met
Fire Met | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|
The Fire Met is a Met variant with a flame on its head. Unlike other versions of the Met, it never hides under a helmet. This enemy constantly walks in one direction and flips if it collides with a wall. If the Fire Met is at the edge of terrain, it will jump off of it and attempt to resume its current direction. Because of its AI, it is often used as an enemy escort. Its initial direction can be set in the Level Builder.
Fire Met can come out of a Fire Met Spawner, which is solid and can be temporarily stunned with electricity. The direction the Mets go after falling from it can be set in the Level Builder.
Fire Mets can interact with assets that have interactions with such as Oil, TNT Block, Hot Plates, Chill Block, andIce Barriers
Numetall
Numetall | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Numetall in Mega Man Maker
|
Numetall is a slug metall that looks like the original immobile variant of the Met. It appears in Pump Man's stage in Mega Man 10.
This version can be either on the floor or sticking to the ceiling crawling about slowly. If the player shoots it may protect itself by hiding under its helmet.
Numetall shoots slimy projectiles that do not damage the player, but if make contact stick to player making them slippery temporarily as if on ice tiles. The projectiles are fired in bursts of three and travel in the same pattern of spread trajectory as the Met and Neo Met's bullets. However, unlike Mega Man 10, firing player shots cannot remove the Numetall's sticky projectiles from the player. The projectiles self-dissolve from the player within a short period.
In Mega Man Maker Numetall's slimy slippery chemical projectiles can increase the acidity of Mega Man 11 Chemical Solution.
Neo Heli Metall

|
Neo Heli Metall is a flying Met variant from Mega Man 10. They hover in place and remain inside their helmets, occasionally revealing themselves and attacking. They appear in Nitro Man's stage, Wily Castle 3 and Special Stage 2. They also appear in Hard Mode in Wily Castle 2.
The direction they move in can be set in the Level Builder.
This enemy was added in 1.7.0 due to being the second most voted enemy in a contest at the end of April 2020, with the first place winner being the Returning Machine Gun Joe and the latter being already programmed.
Camouflametall
Camouflametall | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Camouflametall is a Met variant with a Life instead of a helmet originating from Wily stage 3 and the Special Stage in Mega Man 9.
In Mega Man Maker, a Camouflametall may also have an Anti-Yashichi as its helmet, and can be stunned using Flash Stopper or Centaur Flash for a short amount of time too.
Hell Metall DX
Hell Metall DX | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Artwork of a Hell Metall DX from Mega Man V
|
The Hell Metall DX is a mobile Met enemy originating from Mega Man V that hides behind a shield. It comes in two color schemes: green and orange, and black and white.
When spawned in, a Hell Metall DX will travel towards the player with its shield in front of itself and its back exposed. It will turn around upon reaching a ledge or a wall. After shielding itself for three seconds, a Hell Metall DX will lift its shield up to leave its side exposed for four seconds. Once the player deals enough damage to it, the treads of the Hell Metal DX will be destroyed: the enemy will be launched backwards and remain stationary on any terrain it lands on.
Once stationary, a Hell Metall DX will face the player and shield itself from the player. Every two seconds, it will throw a projectile from the top of its helmet at the player. When hit by the player's charge shot, a Hell Metall DX will be temporarily stunned, leaving itself vulnerable to the player's projectiles as it leaves its shield up.
Fukuhorn

|
The Fukuhorn is an enemy from Mega Man V that is functionally similar to the Metall Sniper but with a robotic body and a single eye. A Fukuhorn comes in two color variants: red and yellow, and black and white.
Metall Sniper
Metall Sniper | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Artwork of a Metall Sniper from Mega Man V
|
The Metall Sniper is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a variant of the Met with a cannon attached to its armored helmet.
When a Metall Sniper is spawned in, its cannon points towards the player's direction. If the player is on the same side as the Metall Sniper's cannon, the cannon is oriented at one of four different angles (horizontally, diagonally above the horizontal, or slightly above or below the horizontal) and readjusts depending on the player's position. If the player is on the opposite side of the Metall Sniper's cannon, the cannon points horizontally.
If the player is further than two tiles from a Metall Sniper, a projectile is fired at the player every three seconds. If the player is closer than two tiles to a Metall Sniper, it charges horizontally in two short bursts: first in the direction that its cannon is pointing then in the player's direction before repeating its pattern.
A Metall Sniper comes in two colour variants: yellow and blue, and black and white.
