DLN-00A/DRN-00A Time Man is one of the eight Robot Master bosses from Mega Man Powered Up featured in Mega Man Maker since version 1.1.0. His signature weapon is the Time Slow.

Time Man was created by Dr. Light and is one of the Robot Masters that Dr. Wily stole and reprogrammed during the events of Mega Man Powered Up.

Behavior

Time Man will repeat his pattern in the following order:

  • Run towards the player, turning around at any walls reached
  • Jump 3 tiles high
  • Fire a long, fast-travelling arrow on the ground at the player
  • Run in the direction he was facing, then fire another long, fast-travelling arrows on the ground at the player
  • Jumps again then activates Time Slow, slowing down everything but himself, other bosses, and the music. Time Man will deflect most projectiles fired by the player's weapons when activating Time Slow.
  • Jump 3 tiles high, shooting one long purple arrow-like clock hand at the player right after jumping then shoot a shorter and slower one in the air at the player. If time is slowed down, after this attack he will deactivate the Time Slow, speeding up everything again.
  • Time Man will shoot a long arrow, run away from the player, and shoot a short arrow suddenly.

Trivia

  • During 1.1.0's development, former beta tester Big Fish provided details about Time Man's pattern to WreckingPrograms.[1]
  • In Mega Man Powered Up, Time Man would occasionally roll to dodge bullets and the screen would turn purple when time was slowed. This attack and feature are not present in Mega Man Maker.
