|Dive Missile's concept art in Mega Man 4|
The user will fire out a small blue torpedo that will target the nearest enemy on screen and home in on it. The arc the missile moves in is wide, causing it to potentially take longer to hit if the target is not directly in front of the user. Occasionally the missile will even miss or swirl around an enemy due to the angle it's shot from.
It has a broad explosion range, so its explosion can hit more than one target if the targets are too close and the missile aimed at a point in which the targets can be equally damaged.
- Dive Missile is one of two weapons in Mega Man Maker from Mega Man 4 that deal a higher base amount of damage to Bosses, with it doing 2 lines of damage when not set as their weakness instead of just 1. The other is Drill Bomb.
- Dive Missile will attempt to home in on Teckyun, but since it can't be hit, the Dive Missile will pointlessly circle the Teckyun endlessly.
- Dive Missile will attempt to home in on Wanaan when it briefly pops out of its vent, and will stop homing on it when it drops back into the vent. This may be unintentional as Wanaan can't be destroyed, and deflects Dive Missiles that connect with it.
