Wave Burner is Burner Man's signature weapon originating from the game Mega Man & Bass and is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
Wave Burner when activated is a short ranged weapon that emits a steady flame that constantly moves up and down in front of the player in a wave motion.
When used underwater Wave Burner will not emit fire, but will instead create a narrow stream of small waves of water directly in front of the player that can push Enemies and Objects.
Being a fire-based weapon, it can ignite Oil and TNT Blocks, heat Hot Plates, melt Ice Barriers, as well as create light in the Moving Light Darkness Object.
Interactions
- Wave Burner is Pirate Man's default weakness in Mega Man & Bass and his special interaction is recreated in Mega Man Maker. So long as Pirate Man has not been given "Immunity" in the created level to Wave Burner, when underwater and using his water bubble attack hitting Pirate Man with Wave Burner will trigger a special animation that causes him to fall to the ground.

- Prior to 1.8.4, Wave Burner could push bosses underwater.
- The weapon icon for Wave Burner was updated in version 1.8.4 to be more detailed as well as for both the regular and special icons to look the same.
