Mega Man (released as "Rockman" in Japan) is the first game in the Mega Man franchise, released on December 17, 1987 for the NES. While it was not a commercial success, it was well-received by critics, and helped pave the way for the franchise we know today.

In Mega Man Maker

As of Version 1.4.0, there are currently 3 Bosses, 15 Enemies, 3 Level Objects, 10 Tilesets, 12 Backgrounds, 6 Weapons, 4 Spikes, 6 Ladders and 10 Music tracks from Mega Man 1 currently available in Mega Man Maker.
