Colton is a green cowboy robot with a revolver type cannon on one arm. They are enemies that originate from Mega Man 6 from Tomahawk Man's stage, and later re-appear the fourth Mr. X stage. They have been an enemy in Mega Man Maker since Version 1.0.0.
Colton shoots a slow horizontal moving bullet from its revolver cannon, that can pass through walls. Once a bullet leaves the screen, despawns, or is deflected by either Shine or Proto Man's shield, it will shoot another bullet. If the player travels past a Colton horizontally, the enemy will turn to face towards the player and fire another bullet, once its previously fired bullet is despawned or deflected.
As Colton fires another bullet whenever his previous bullet despawns, and his bullets can despawn when they travel off-screen, placing Colton closer to the edge of a screen will cause him to fire more rapidly. Colton's firing rate can also potentially fluctuate in rooms with smooth horizontal scrolling, depending on how close the player scrolls the enemy to the edge of the screen.
- Colton's HP (6) is a reference to a colt-revolver, which has six chambers.
- Despite Colton's bullets not despawning when they are deflected by Shine or Proto Man's shield, a deflected bullet is no longer classified as an enemy projectile, which is why the Colton fires another bullet.
