Hari Harry is a hedgehog robot originally designed to guard mining sites. This enemy originates from Needle Man's stage in Mega Man 3 and appears in Mega Man: The Wily Wars and Mega Man II.

In Mega Man Maker

Behavior

When a Hari Harry spawns, it will first fire two barrages of five needles, with each of the five needles traveling in different directions. One needle travels horizontally left, one horizontally right, one diagonally left, one diagonally right, and one vertically upwards.

After firing its two barrages of five needles, it will roll towards the player for a few seconds, where it is invulnerable to most damage until it stops rolling. It will fall straight down if it rolls off a platform. Once it finishes rolling, it will fire one barrage of five needles; after doing so, it will roll towards the player for a few seconds again. Its behavior will then loop back to the start, firing two barrages of needles again.

Hari Harry's needles can be destroyed by attacking them, or deflected by Shine or Proto Man's Shield.

Level Builder

Hari Harry can be selected to face either left or right in the Level Builder; however, due to the way its AI functions, its manual facing direction is redundant, having no effect on how the enemy moves or attacks.

Trivia

  • Despite Hari Harry more commonly being associated with Needle Man, they are also associated with Hyper Storm H.
  • Despite Hari Harry's body being covered in pointy needles, they can still be trapped in a Danger Wrap bubble in Mega Man Maker.
