The Mega Man Maker challenge event (also known as MMMCE, Mega Man Maker Level Contest, or MMMLC) is a series of public level creation contests held in Mega Man Maker. These challenges usually have certain criteria for level design and are made to encourage creative usage of assets available within the game's editor. Several judges vote and give written reviews on the entries, with the winning stage being the one that received the most votes. The winning creators from a challenge are usually offered a prize at the end of the challenge; in recent contests, the reward for the winning level has often been its inclusion as an example level in the next major update.
