Machine Mgun Mchallenge is a challenge event held for Mega Man Maker. It is an unusually-structured contest hosted by Goldstorm announced on July 16, 2026, shortly before the release of 1.10.5. The contest was for levels themed around the new cameo weapon, Machine Gun, which was added by Goldstorm's decision.
Unlike previous contests, Goldstorm was the only judge for the contest, and it did not follow a scoring system, as it was judged solely off Goldstorm's feelings on the level.
Rules
- The level must be between 9 to 25 screens.
- The level's main focus should be around Machine Gun and its unique features, but it must not be placed in the primary weapon slot, it must auto-refill.
- You are not limited to just Machine Gun as the only weapon. You can add one more weapon, but this extra weapon must be in the primary slot and not consume ammo.
- Adding a second weapon is optional.
- Multiple slots with Machine Gun are not allowed. Only one Machine Gun can be used.
- No "Kaizo" or "Difficult" levels, unless the first few screens ramp up properly to the challenge.
- If the level is bad, Goldstorm will make fun of you.
- One level submission per user.
- You may use weapon capsules as long as you abide by the above rules.
