The Sea Mine, as its name states, is an underwater mine from Mega Man 4 that only appears in Dive Man's stage. It was introduced in version 1.7.0 of Mega Man Maker.
When spawned, it will remain stationary until the player is 3–4 tiles near it horizontally. If this condition is met, it will explode. Before exploding, it will flash a bit to warn the player. If spawned on water, it will float slightly upwards and downwards.
There is also a spawner for the Sea Mine that will spawn them.
If a Sea Mine explodes near a Dust Block, the Dust Block will be destroyed.
Trivia
- Prior to version 1.7.3, the description for the Sea Mine stated that it would explode if shot by the player despite not being able to do so. However, the change is not mentioned in the changelog for version 1.7.3.
- It does not explode when shot in Mega Man 4 either.
- Despite the official art showing it as green, the only color of the Sea Mine shown in both Mega Man 4 and Mega Man Maker is red.
