The Bell Ringer is an enemy from Mega Man 8 and Mega Man & Bass, originating from Clown Man's stage and Magic Man's stage. It will be featured in Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0.
The enemy itself is a hammer-wielding robot near a bell. Once the bell is rung by the robot, level objects attached to the enemy will automatically be triggered. It is stationary as it was in Mega Man & Bass instead of entering and leaving doors like it did in Clown Man's stage.
There are six variations of Bell Ringer, each affecting different level objects:
- Magenta - rotates Rotating Spike Blocks, as it did in Mega Man & Bass,
- Orange - extends Hornet Rolls and momentarily pauses Fire Walls,
- Yellow - activates Fuse Laser Crawlers/Turrets and Ring/Coil Platforms,
- Green - flips Spike Platforms and Flip Platforms,
- Blue - increases the water level and strength of the Rain,
- Pink - rotates Punch Blocks and opens/closes Plantforms.
The interval between each ring can be set between 2 and 9 seconds.
