Challenge event/New Years Tradition

New Year's Tradition was the eighth challenge event held for Mega Man Maker. It was hosted by Sasha and held from January 10, 2025 to February 25, 2025. The focus of the contest was to build a traditional-styled level.
The contest was first announced on January 10, 2025. Level submissions were open from January 24, 2025 to February 7, 2025. The contest results were announced on February 25, 2025.
Rules
- No troll or kaizo stages.
- Text-editing and/or the MMLV editor is not allowed.
- Levels must be between 20 to 40 screens of length.
- Your level must have at least two extra weapons besides the primary weapon.
- Your stage must end with a boss fight.
Notable info
- Your level’s primary weapon does not need to be the character’s default weapon (Mega Buster, Roll Swing, etc.)
- Usage of commonly known community glitches such as one way teleporters, and minimap auto tiler manipulation is allowed.
- Your stage can have multiple boss fights.
