Fission Furnace Zone is a level created by ItsJustSeb.

This level was originally uploaded for New Year's Tradition Level Creation Contest, in which it won first place overall.

The first place prize for the contest was to get included as an Example Level. However, as the developers forgot to include it with the release of 1.10.0, it was included as an example level in 1.10.1 instead.

• There are two out of bounds rooms in the top left corner of the level.
  • One simply contains a collection of enemies and gimmick used throughout the level. This was commonly done in the contest's other entries.
  • The other contains pixel art of Spamton from Deltarune made with Shadows.
