Taketento is a helicopter ladybug robot originally intended to be used an aerial patrol robot for indoor areas. It is an enemy that originates from Mega Man 4 from various stages and reappears on Mega Man IV. The enemy debuted in version 1.0.0 of Mega Man Maker.

When Taketento is spawned, it will be in a "passive state" where it will travel in a straight line horizontally from its initial facing direction, with the ability to pass freely through anything resembling a wall, floor, or ceiling. A Taketento in its "passive state" will not turn turn around to travel in the direction of the player, if it was initially set to travel away from them. If a Taketento in its "passive state" gets within 4 tiles or closer to the player's position on the x-axis, regardless of what the player's position is on the y-axis, the Taketento will enter its "aggressive state".

When Taketento enters its "aggressive state", it will launch its propeller straight upwards as a projectile attack, will begin to spin its body very quickly, and then move towards the player, attempting to collide with them. Taketento in its "aggressive state" will constantly update and change its direction of travel whenever necessary to ensure it is always traveling in the direction of the player, and still has the ability to pass through anything resembling walls, floors, and ceilings. Taketento's propeller projectile can not be deflected by Shine or Proto Man's shield.

A Taketento in its "aggressive state" will not return to its "passive state", meaning the enemy must either be destroyed, or outran and scrolled off-screen to despawn it, to make it stop chasing the player.

Taketento can be set to face either left or right in the Level Builder.
