• February 16, 2025 - It is announced that for 1.10.0, loading for levels has been improved. Additionally, loading a level will no longer freeze the game while data is loading; instead, the player is provided with additional loading details as demonstrated on the example level Developer Challenges.
• February 4, 2025 - A plushie contest is announced (open until February 16, 2025 at 3 PM EST) where users can vote for plushies of their favorite Robot Masters. The three plushies with the most votes will be added to version 1.10.0.
• January 30, 2025 - A new weapon is announced - Wire from Mega Man 4. Additionally, Toxin-GX is announced as a beta tester.
• January 28, 2025 - Meka announces that 1.10.0 will add assets based on what the dev team wishes to add rather than sticking to a specific theme. In addition, it is announced that it will drop support for 32-bit OS, to allow the team to take advantage of more GameMaker functions in 64-bit OS.
• January 13, 2025 - 1.9.4.3 is released.
• January 9, 2025 - The New Year's Tradition contest, a traditional level contest, is announced.
• January 5, 2025 - 1.9.4.2 is released.
• January 1, 2025 - The judges for the next level contest are announced: Phun, Fati98, Obderhode, Things, Toxin-GX, and Octodude.
• December 20, 2024 - Judge applications for future level contests are open until January 1, 2025.
• December 22, 2024 - 1.9.4.1 is released.
• December 15, 2024 - 1.9.4 is released with a final patch, 1.9.4.1, scheduled to release on December 22, 2024.
• October 11, 2024 - 1.9.3.1 is released.
• October 10, 2024 - 1.9.3 is released.
• October 3, 2024 - 1.9.2.2 is released.
• October 2, 2024 - 1.9.2 and 1.9.2.1 are released.
• September 25, 2024 - 1.9.1 and 1.9.1.1 are released.
• September 20, 2024 - 1.9.0 is released.
• September 19, 2024 - Release trailer for 1.9.0 is released with layering announced as the main feature and a release date scheduled for the following day.
