Crash Bomber is Crash Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man 2 and reappearing in Mega Man II and Mega Man: The Wily Wars. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.0.0.

Firing it sends out a bomb that latches on to solid terrain, objects, and shielded enemies. After 1 second it detonates, leaving behind an explosion that hits up to 7 times and pierces any armor the target may have. If it hits an exposed enemy, it will explode immediately. This weapon can destroy the other indestructible Big Fish, a trait it shares with Quick Boomerang. If stuck on to terrain, and a moving shielded enemy contacts it, the bomb will be transferred to it. Only one Crash Bomber can be onscreen at once.

Trivia

  • Crash Bomber being able to defeat Big Fish was originally a bug in Mega Man 2, which was fixed in Mega Man: The Wily Wars.
  • Its ability to reattach itself to certain enemies once stuck could be a reference to how it functions in Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
