Crispy Kickin Cayenne Chicken is an example level created by Chombey. This level features an overarching theme of birds and fire.

Walkthrough

First Indoor Section: The level begins on a small ledge above a Lamper. By continuing on, the player encounters Beaks, Fire Mets, and Coccos, three enemies that will be recurring throughout the level. After climbing down a ladder, a few Blast Crates will explode, clearing the way. Afterwards, after encountering Atomic Chickens, the player will enter a room with another Lamper. Sliding through the gap on the left side will present a platforming challenge for an E-Tank.

The First Climb: The first checkpoint appears here, with a Yashichi hidden behind some decorations requiring the player to blow up some Blast Crates with Scorch Wheel. Climbing the ladder will lead to a room where the player must avoid respawning Atomic Chickens, followed by a room with a timed platforming challenge. Sliding through the gap will present the player with a miniboss fight against Suzak and Fenix with two platforms in the center and gaps on the sides. After they are defeated, the player must go through a boss door on the left.

First Outdoor Section and Second Indoor Section: After the miniboss, a handful of enemies placed in hard to hit positions will be in the player's way, requiring use of special weapons to take out safely. After a few rooms, the player must avoid respawning Atomic Chickens to trigger a Blast Wire to expose the way forward. Afterwards, the player must carefully avoid spikes and a few enemies while making their way forward.

The Second Climb and Third Indoor Section: The second checkpoint appears here, once again with a Yashichi to collect. In the next room, the player must defeat some Fire Mets while being careful to not blow up the Blast Crates too early, or they must reset the room. Afterwards, the player will have to deal with several rooms of respawning enemies, Blast Crates in their way, and spikes in precarious positions. The third checkpoint appears afterwards, requiring the player to activate a Blast Wire to collect another Yashichi. The following room requires the player to rush over rapidly exploding Blast Crates while Atomic Chickens constantly appear to grab a ladder at the end. After another platforming section, the player must use the Lamper's attacks to clear space to jump up to the next section.

Second Outdoor Section and Boss: Most of the next section is filled with water, causing Scorch Wheel to become ineffective. Several enemies are placed in a way to be difficult to deal with. At the end is a rematch against Suzak and Fenix with less space to platform than before. After defeating them, there is the final checkpoint and Yashichi in the boss corridor, requiring the player to use Scorch Wheel at the apex of a jump to blow up Blast Crates blocking it. The player must take damage to reach it, however. Inside the boss room, the player must blow up some final Blast Crates to reach Tengu Man, who is weak to your two melee weapons. However, he does not have an immunity, so any weapon will work. The boss room features pits on either side, and three Jumpthrough Platforms in the center. Upon defeating Tengu Man, the stage will end.

Trivia

  • This level features an unreachable room that contains an E-Tank and smiley face made from tiles and decorations.
