Tilesets are a category of placeable assets in Mega Man Maker's Level Builder. They are static, solid objects that are used to create terrain in levels.
The only gameplay difference between tilesets are that a few tilesets provide ice physics. A few other tilesets are also animated but like the rest, only serve aesthetic purposes. Spikes and ladders are also considered tilesets but do not have different functions between designs.

Trivia
- Cut Tile (PU) is the first tile to have a massive overhaul. It was changed as of 1.7.3 after the previous version's backlash due to lack of proper shading.
- Prior to version 1.5.0, Shade Tile was mislabeled as Slash Tile while the actual Slash Tile was labelled as Slash Tile 2. The error might have come from the tileset's appearance leading to think that it was representing Slash Man's stage.
- Prior to version 1.8.4, the Level Builder icon for Wily 1 Tile from Mega Man 1 had the icon of Wily 1 Tile (Alt). Alt versions of Wily 1 Tile did not exist before they were added in 1.8.4.
