Copy Vision is Astro Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man & Bass. It was added to Mega Man Maker in version 1.8.0.
When the shoot key is pressed, the player will spawn a clone of themselves at their current location, which will then begin to fire projectiles at a moderate pace shortly afterwards. While a clone is onscreen, enemies will always attack the clone rather than the player. Even though the clone itself has no collision and cannot be damaged by enemies, the projectiles fired by a clone will damage enemies and interact with Level Objects vulnerable to it's projectiles.
As with all Mega Man & Bass weapons, the Copy Vision has an alternate palette when the player is using Proto Man or Bass.
