Spread Drill is Ground Man's signature weapon, originating from Mega Man & Bass. It is featured in Mega Man Maker as of version 1.8.0.
If the shoot key is pressed, the player fires a big drill that pierces through enemy shields, but travels slowly and falls after a short distance. However, if the player presses the shoot key again, the drill becomes smaller and splits in half: this can be done up to two times, with a maximum of four small drills onscreen at a time. The smaller the drills, the faster and further they travel, but the weaker they become.
Spread Drill has been shown to be able to pass through multiple cracked blocks, ice blocks, and dust blocks without destroying the projectile.
Trivia
