Mega Man 9 (released as "Rockman 9: The Ambition's Revival!!!" in Japan) is the ninth game in the classic Mega Man series, released on September 22, 2008. It was the first Mega Man game released for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan and the United States after the short hiatus of the classic series, and also the first Mega Man game released only digitally.

In Mega Man Maker

Version 1.5.0 focused on adding content from this game and from Mega Man 8. As of Version 1.7.5, there are 3 bosses, 15 enemies, 10 level objects, 39 tilesets, 64 backgrounds, 7 weapons, 21 spikes, 16 ladders and 16 music tracks available from Mega Man 9 in Mega Man Maker.
