Freeze Cracker is Freeze Man's signature weapon from Mega Man 7 and is one of the weapons featured in Mega Man Maker since its 1.7.0 version.

A big snowflake is shot from the buster that splits into six smaller snowflakes when it collides with a wall or solid object, each snowflake traveling in a straight line away from the point of impact with a 60 degree angle difference from each other. The weapon can be aimed diagonally up or down if the fire key is combined with the up or down keys respectively. The small snowflakes can pass through terrain while the big snowflake cannot. As an ice weapon, it can freeze Flame Pillars and Fire Walls, making them safe to touch while frozen. Only one Freeze Cracker projectile can be onscreen at once, and the smaller snowflakes must leave the screen before it can be refired.

The weapon was modified to freeze enemies for one second, which is shorter than Ice Slasher's freezing period for balance reasons. It can also attack enemies even if they are shielded. Like Ice Slasher, Freeze Cracker can pierce the Robot Master Skull Man's Shields even if it's not set as his weakness.
